We have been watching Season 1 & 2 of Mad Men the past couple of months, and like everyone else, we love the show.  It's dark, often sad, visually arresting and immediately becomes an obsession. Please, no season 3 & 4 spoilers when you come over!

We wanted to throw a retro cocktail and dinner party inspired by the show and some vintage cookbooks Shawna was given before the wedding.

Please come in cocktail attire or "dressed for dinner" as they used to say. Here is your chance to re-wear your favorite dress from the summer wedding season or go all-out 60s style. Guys, you can actually wear that one suit you own.

Please arrange for a car-pool, bike or bus ride this week if you plan to indulge as much as Don Draper would!
